Inscription: 'In fondest remembrance of Louisa Knott who passed away Jan 20th 1905, aged 72, also her beloved husband John Knott who died Feb 22nd 1908, aged 77.
And Ellen beloved wife of Frederick E. Knott who entered into rest March 6th 1941, aged 70, also her beloved husband Frederick Edward who passed peacefully away November 2nd 1949, aged 80, (kerb), also his son Frederick John who died January 18th 1951, aged 61.'

Frederick Knott was a brush maker, leather and grindery dealer. His shop – called “The Reading Brush Factory’ was located shop located at 35 Southampton Street.
